Requirements:

Strong communication skills, including the ability to distill complex technical information into concise, easily understood formats while articulating competing priorities 5+ years technical program/project management experience, particularly the productization of complex software features on innovated robotic hardware 3+ years of experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes, and managing risks Experience using software development methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum) to organize technical work using Jira Experience integrating agile project management methodologies within waterfall frameworks Nice to have: Hands-on software development experience Technical background, ability to build a systems-level understanding of complex robotic systems Experience in mobile robotics or autonomous vehicle industries

Responsibilities:

Work across multiple teams to build and track comprehensive projects plans that account for the complex interdependencies inherent in robotics, including managing scope, identifying risks, estimating workloads, defining schedule milestones, and tracking cross-functional efforts throughout the development process Reinforce a team culture of collaboration, accountability, and trustworthy communication across multiple teams and stakeholders Develop and champion processes for efficiency and scale in our organization Communicate regularly on status, schedule, risks, and change control Coordinate and facilitate recurring project meetings Monitor team health, remove blockers, and mediate conflicts Partner with project managers and technical leaders in other parts of the business to ensure smooth, predictable execution

As a Software Project Manager on a new product team, you will directly support the Program Manager as well as the SW directors and managers to create achievable project plans and track progress against them. You will lead the identification of risks internal to the software teams' plans, elevate and advertise these risks, and track progress towards their resolution. You will create high level status reports for communicating with both executives and the broader company-wide technical community. You will have the opportunity to establish and optimize processes across the software organization.
