XGO 2: The First Mini Robot with a Robotic Arm | Hire Robot Worker
Introducing the XGO 2, the first miniature four-legged robot with a robotic arm, created by Luwu Intelligent Technology, a spin-off of the Harbin Institute of Technology. This laptop-sized robot is currently the subject of a Kickstarter campaign, making it an exciting opportunity to hire a robot worker for various tasks.
The open-source XGO 2 can be controlled remotely in real-time via an app or programmed by tech-savvy owners. It features a Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 board and is compatible with Blockly, Python, and ROS programming languages. Built-in AI modules provide visual, voice, and gesture recognition, allowing the XGO 2 to hear, recognize, and respond to users like a real dog.
Equipped with six IMUs (inertial measurement units) and 12 degrees of freedom, the XGO 2 can move in various ways (walking, trotting, etc.) in any direction and maintain stability on uneven or moving surfaces. The head combines a camera, microphone, speaker, LCD screen, and push-button controls for basic programming and switching between operating modes. The screen also displays an animated face, giving the robot personality.
The manipulator has 3 degrees of freedom and a grip that can open to a width of 2.5 to 5.5 cm. The XGO 2 can be instructed to grab, lift, and carry various small objects, making it an ideal robot worker for various tasks.
The XGO 2 is available in two models: the standard Mini and the more compact, slightly less powerful Lite. If the Kickstarter campaign reaches its goal, backers can get the Lite version for 449 and the Mini for \749. The planned retail prices are 898 and \1398, respectively. Deliveries are expected to start in April 2023.
Don't miss your chance to hire a robot worker with the unique capabilities of the XGO 2. Support the Kickstarter campaign today and bring home this innovative mini robot with a robotic arm!
