Vention's Manufacturing Automation Platform has been designed as a comprehensive solution for customers looking to design, program, order, and deploy robots without the need for extensive expertise or multiple third-party interventions. We did it on the robot front, while Vention did it on the application and deployment side." The GoFa cobot series from ABB includes three models with payloads of 5, 10, and 12 kg, designed for versatility across various applications such as assembly, material handling, inspection, and welding. These cobots boast impressive specifications, including 0.02 mm repeatability and a reach of up to 1.62 meters. A standout feature is the integration of torque sensors in each of their six joints, ensuring superior power and force-limiting performance – a crucial aspect for safe human-robot collaboration.

Etienne Lacroix, founder and CEO of Vention, highlighted the strategic nature of this partnership: "We had clients specifically demanding the ABB brand, and we were not able to serve them. We choose the partners we do business with very carefully, simply because our mission is to provide simplicity. We are in the business of democratizing industrial automation."

The integration of GoFa cobots with Vention's platform components – including MachineBuilder for design, MachineLogic for robot programming, MachineAnalytics for operations monitoring, and Remote Support on demand – creates a comprehensive ecosystem for automation solutions. This holistic approach is set to significantly reduce the complexity and time involved in implementing robotic systems.
