Responsibilities:
As a Technical Buyer, you will play a key role in procurement and supplier management to ensure that our production is consistently supplied with high-quality electronic components and parts. Your main tasks include:
- Identifying and selecting suitable suppliers, obtaining and comparing offers, as well as conducting price negotiations and contract agreements
- Ensuring on-time delivery and quality control of procured goods
- Building and maintaining long-term business relationships with suppliers, regularly evaluating suppliers for price, quality, and delivery reliability, and developing measures to improve supplier performance
- Monitoring inventory levels and conducting stock analyses, coordinating with production planning to ensure continuous material supply, and implementing and optimizing inventory management strategies
- Analyzing market trends and developments in electronic components, identifying innovation and cost-saving potentials, and conducting benchmarking studies
- Collaborating closely with the development department in the selection and specification of components and parts, participating in project meetings, and supporting the definition of technical requirements
- Ensuring the availability of components for prototypes and series production, as well as supporting the introduction of new products through early involvement in development processes
