Embedded Software Developer - Signal Processing

Requirements:

• Demonstrated expertise in developing embedded software for signal processing applications, such as audio, image processing, ranging, or MiMO antenna signal processing.​
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in embedded systems development, particularly C and C++.​
• Experience with real-time operating systems such as FreeRTOS, RTLinux, OSEK, Autosar, or similar systems for managing tasks and resources in embedded systems.​
• Comprehensive knowledge of signal processing algorithms and techniques, including probabilistic filtering, Fourier analysis, digital signal processing (DSP), and adaptive signal processing.​
• Experience with DSP hardware or software platforms and understanding of their architecture and capabilities for efficiently implementing signal processing algorithms.​
• Understanding of relevant hardware components for signal processing in embedded systems, including microcontrollers, digital signal processors (DSPs), analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), and digital-to-analog converters (DACs).​
• Proficiency in using version control tools (Git), quality analysis, and testing.​
  Fluent written and spoken English skills.

Responsibilities:

You will be primarily responsible for designing and implementing algorithms for real-time signal processing applications. You will work closely with hardware engineers to optimize software performance on embedded platforms.

• Develop and optimize algorithms for filtering, noise reduction, and data compression in embedded systems.​
• Implement efficient signal processing techniques using DSP processors (Digital Signal Processing) and microcontrollers.​
• Ensure software reliability and performance through comprehensive testing and debugging methods.​
• Participate in technical design discussions to ensure signal processing solutions meet both technical and business requirements.
