Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (B.S.E.E./B.S.C./B.S.M.E.) from a four-year university with two years of related robotic automation experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in advanced computer languages and coding in C, C++, and/or C#, and/or Java. Experience with automation and other industrial robots such as KUKA, Fanuc, Yaskawa, ABB, Kawasaki, Nachi, Denso, etc. Ability to read and interpret mechanical prints, electrical prints, and other related technical documentation. Individuals should have a passion for and understanding of personal development through the training process Must have outstanding communication, presentation, and organizational skills while demonstrating a positive, motivational, and professional appearance. Must be skilled in low voltage electronics and troubleshooting. Must be skilled in how to use basic tools and mechanical teardown of robot arms. Instruction/teaching, public speaking skills, and experience in training seminars or formal training courses in a college or professional training environment preferred. Valid passport required. Knowledge of: methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials used in the maintenance and repair of all auto manufacturing Robotics equipment and processes. Must be skilled in how to use basic tools and mechanical teardown of robot arms. Technology Skills: Ability to integrate computer applications into teaching. Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to apply knowledge of current research and theory to instructional program; ability to plan and implement lessons based on division and college objectives and the needs and abilities of students to whom assigned. Ability to establish a maintain collegial relationships with students, peers, staff, and administrators; skill in oral and written communication.

Responsibilities:

Deliver basic and specialized training seminars with a training curriculum created by headquarter. Communicate appropriate safety precautions for robot operation. Modify and adapt existing training curriculum by researching customer’s applications and creating new training programs as warranted. Tests trainees and internal personnel to measure progress, evaluate training effectiveness, and provide ongoing training recommendations. Deliver and participate in Train-the-Trainer programs and coach others involved in training efforts to provide growth and staff development opportunities. Work with Technical Support and Engineers to fully understand the technical and safe operation of Industrial Robot products for purposes of course design. Provide multi-level lecture and laboratory training to customers and personnel. Maintain, prepare, update, configure, and repair robot lab equipment. Prepare robots and materials for shipment for on-site training sessions. Develop basic and advanced technical content on a wide variety of materials. Prepare instructional material from the curriculum that is to be covered in class and review weekly lessons, quizzes, tests, and labs and come prepared to teach on time. Strives to motivate students and facilitate learning by creating a positive environment. Deliver equipment-specific training to Maintenance Technicians and Engineers on a wide variety of manufacturing equipment and topics as described above. Assist Engineers and/or Maintenance Technicians in root cause analysis of various robot-related issues Deliver Technical Training courses in classroom and field settings using a variety of presentation formats including Instructor-Led, Facilitative group learning, active hands-on learning, and functional assessments. Provide an evaluation of courses with written and hands-on assessments. Provide comprehensive tracking of each Student’s completed and required training in a specific Learning Management software system. The innovative, flexible, and positive teaching style and understanding the needs of students from diverse backgrounds. Mathematical Skills: Ability to apply concepts such as fractions percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
