Requirements:

Systems Engineering experience in the development, production, operation and support of products in the defense industry (years of experience dependent on the education level below) Experience in the implementation and use of Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) is desirable Experience in UAE or Middle East is desirable Bachelors in Engineering with 12 to 18 years relevant experience Masters in Engineering with 10 to 15 years relevant experience Doctorate in Engineering with 9 to 13 years relevant experience Systems Engineering Professional (SEP) certification from the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) or equivalent certification or training certificates in systems engineering is desirable Capable of technical management Proficiency in applying engineering knowledge and skills Familiar with military (or equivalent) standards and specifications Application of MBSE and/or engineering specialty software

Responsibilities:

Take the overall technical authority, responsibility and accountability for the technical performance for a product system, or system-element throughout its life cycle. The complexity and scope of the system/system-element is linked to the grade of the position. Perform the technical processes such as mission analysis, requirements definition, architectural definition, verification and validation. Execute the technical management processes including planning, decision management, risk management, configuration management and information management. Generate systems engineering outputs such as: Interpret and/or generate User Requirements Specifications Develop the Concept of Use and Concept of Operation documentation Generate Development Specifications or Technical Requirements Perform architectural and functional breakdown and design of the system Perform technical trade-off analysis and document the process, analysis and results Prepare the System Engineering Management Plan Prepare Test and Evaluation Master Plans Generate system Qualification Plans and Qualification Reports Generate system Acceptance Test Procedures Technical contractual documentation Define requirements and success criteria design reviews. Present and/or participate in the presentation and approving design reviews. Ensure alignment of design with the requirements. Interface management and control between system- elements to ensure successful integration. Plan and support verification and validation activities. Coordinate the integration of specialty engineering within the development cycle. Implementation of Model Based System Engineering within the company and selected projects. Generate Project Breakdown Structure and relevant Scope of Work statements for execution, management and control of technical tasks associated with a project. Review and approve technical documentation generated by team members. Arrange and manage technical work-sessions and team discussions. Identify shortcoming and propose improvements in company procedures. Provide coaching, guidance and supervision to relevant team members and contribute to the establishment of knowledge and expertise within the group and company.
