Motion control specialist Delta Line has released the Leo B2000, the latest addition to its high-performance servo drive family. The new closed-loop controller is designed for efficiency and versatility, ideal for servo and brushless DC motors up to 2,000W.

Housed in a ultra-compact enclosure, the feature-rich Leo B2000 drive provides precision speed and position control along with advanced safety capabilities. Key highlights include:

  • Power of 12 to 48 Vdc and up to 40 Arms
  • Dimensions: 105 x 75 x 24 or 28mm depending on the fieldbus
  • Encoder: Magnetic incremental 5V differential (RS422) or 5V single ended (TTL/CMOS) and BiSS-C Absolute encoder
  • Hall input (not isolated): 5V Single-ended (TTL/CMOS) hall effects
  • Chopper frequency: ultrasonic 20kHz
  • Interface: Ethercat, CANOpen, Modbus, Modbus TCP
  • 4 digital inputs, 3 digital outputs, 1.3A output external brake, 2 analog inputs
  • STO Safe Torque Off function
  • Brake resistor Output
  • CE, REACH, ROHS Compliant, UL Compliant

Weighing just 75g, the Leo B2000's small footprint suits space-constrained applications. An integrated heatsink allows reliable operation at full rated current.

Delta Line rates the drive for 50°C ambient temperature, with optional conformal coating for demanding environments. Safety and EMC certifications enable global industrial deployment.

With its combination of power density, configurability and cost-effectiveness, Delta Line positions the Leo B2000 as ideal for AGVs, electric vehicles, robotics and automation equipment. Paired with Delta Line's servo motors up to 2kW, it provides high-efficiency motion control for machines and mechanisms.

The drive's extensive I/O and safety features also simplify integrating sensors, actuators and human-machine interfaces to build more capable automation systems. Delta Line continues to push servo drive innovation, with the flexible new Leo B2000 enabling the next generation of electric motion designs.
